Supply Update for Our North American Gas Customers

9/4/2012, 4:25 p.m., EST

  • Air Products facilities in all areas impacted by Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaac are running normally and we are serving customers via normal delivery patterns.
  • Thank you for your continued support.

9/1/2012, 10:54 a.m., EST

  • Recovery efforts continue in the region hardest hit by Isaac. Our teams will be working with customers throughout the holiday weekend to restore operations. Deliveries are being made region-wide, despite routing challenges posed by local road and traffic conditions.
  • We anticipate a return to normal operation and deliveries next week.
  • Updates on this site will resume on Tuesday unless there are important developments in regional conditions.

8/31/2012, 12:10 p.m., EST

  • Efforts are fully underway to restore normal operations at our Louisiana facilities in the aftermath of Isaac. Gas deliveries are being scheduled as customers resume operations and roads reopen.
  • Customers directly impacted by the storm can contact Customer Service at 800-224-2724 throughout the holiday weekend, 24/7, to communicate their status regarding delivery access to their tanks and plans to resume normal operations.

8/30/2012, 10:45 a.m., EST

  • We are working toward resumption of gas deliveries in the region hit by Isaac. However, access through the area is still hampered by localized high winds and flooding. We will post updates as conditions improve.
  • We encourage those customers directly impacted by the storm to contact Customer Service at 800-224-2724 to communicate their status and plans to resume normal operations.

8/29/2012, 4:05 p.m., EST

  • Due to the storm conditions, truck deliveries of all gas products remain suspended to Louisiana and Mississippi customers in areas directly impacted by Hurricane Isaac.
  • We are continuing to monitor the situation as it unfolds and are lining up resources to resume deliveries when conditions are safe.

8/28/2012, 3:55 p.m. EST

  • We are fully engaged in executing our emergency preparedness plan as Hurricane Isaac approaches landfall in Louisiana.
  • On Tuesday evening, August 28, we will suspend truck deliveries of all gas products to Louisiana and Mississippi customers located in the path of the storm.
  • We will continue to monitor the storm and assess the feasibility of resuming deliveries. Updates will be posted on a regular basis.

8/27/2012, 4:35 p.m. EST

  • Currently, we’re continuing normal deliveries to all customers who are located in the anticipated path of Tropical Storm Isaac, which is expected to reach land early Wednesday morning.
  • Preparation continues at Air Products’ production sites to store inventory and protect assets such as plants and vehicles. Our plants will remain running and we’ve identified crews to ride out the storm at the plants. They will be in place Tuesday morning.
  • We continue to monitor the situation around the clock and are holding operational meetings multiple times per day to ensure safe production and delivery.

8/26/2012, 7:45 p.m. EST

  • As the projected track of Tropical Storm Isaac shifts west, our focus is now on customers and plant operations in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Southwest Alabama. We continue to monitor inventory levels of all customers and maximize inventory.

8/23/2012, 3:15 p.m. EST

  • We are monitoring the developing weather situation in the Caribbean and its potential impact on our plant operations and distribution routes in the U.S. Gulf Coast, Florida, and the Carolinas. This includes monitoring the inventory levels of all customers in the path of the storm and operating our plants to maximize inventory levels.
  • Currently, deliveries are being scheduled based on normal operations. While additional resources are being engaged to help maintain product supply, we cannot divert resources from normal delivery routes to “top off” customers in the region.
  • If you anticipate any changes to usage or delivery access to your tank, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-224-2724 (available 24/7).
  • Updates will be posted on this website as appropriate. Please check back regularly or follow us on Twitter to be alerted when updates are made to this site.
  • We appreciate your continued business and confidence in Air Products as your supplier.
