The Air Products Foundation has made a commitment of $100,000 to provide support for relief efforts from the devastation being caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Louisiana. Of that contribution, $50,000 will go to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund to help address immediate needs in the affected area. The company will coordinate with leaders in our host communities throughout the Gulf Coast to identify local relief needs and designate the other $50,000 to local support.
“Our most important concern at this time is the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and their families,” said Corning Painter, executive vice president, Industrial Gases, and Air Products Foundation trustee. “The financial support from the Air Products Foundation will provide local relief to the affected communities where our employees live and where we have operations. Our teams in Texas and Louisiana will monitor the progress, and we are prepared to step up and help where it is needed most.”
