Our Vision
Air Products is driven to be the best company for all our stakeholders—the best to buy from, to work for, and to invest in. That vision begins with our people.
To attract and retain the best employees and gain the most from their talents, we work hard to sustain an environment that visibly demonstrates a commitment to them. We do this through consistent attention to respect, communication, diversity and inclusion.

Donald W. Boyd
Global Diversity Director
"Air Products is tremendously committed to the concepts of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We strive for an open, positive work environment that values and respects individuals "because of everyone's differences." Our efforts are supported by our business strategy. As we strive to be a leader in the market place, we must effectively leverage the talents and ideas of all of our people. We can only achieve this by recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce and creating an environment where all employees can be productive."

What is Diversity?
Diversity is the condition of having differences—those you can see, such as age, gender, and race, and those you may not see, such as individual backgrounds, language, nationality, sexual orientation, education, attitudes, disabilities, and others.
Our Belief
At Air Products, we believe diversity is critical to our success, and taking advantage of that diversity is vital to create a high-performance business—one that achieves its business goals while living its corporate values. With that belief, we have established and communicated our business case for diversity to our employees. We have set goals and expectations. And we constantly strive to improve our understanding and increase our competence in working across all the differences that exist among our employees, our customers and suppliers, and our communities in order to maximize value.
Our Commitment
Our commitment to a culture of diversity is led by our CEO and administered through our Diversity Department.
An important element of our diversity commitment is senior management support. The Executive Forum for Diversity (EFD) is a senior management committee set up by the CEO to lead the company's strategic initiative on diversity. The function of the EFD is to promote and steer the diversity initiative, recommend policy and practice changes that affect diversity, and develop plans, goals and consequences to achieve diversity objectives.
