Q
How do I submit my resume?
A
Resumes must be submitted on-line through our Career Center or our University Recruiting Career Center if you are a student or recent graduate.

Q
Do I need a computer to apply on-line?
A
Yes. If you don't have a home computer, most public libraries have computers that you can use at no charge. You can also use a computer at your local CareerLink or your state Employment Services offices. If you have a computer but don't have Internet access, you may be able to access the Internet through office services stores. Many Internet providers offer free, Web-based e-mail accounts.

Q
How do I know if you received my resume?
A
We have received your resume, if after completing your profile, a message appears on your computer screen saying "Thank you. We have received your application for the following job(s)." This screen will list the job(s) for which you have applied. You will also receive a system-generated e-mail confirming the receipt of your application.

Q
After I completed my profile, nothing happened. The system just keeps going back to the Set Up My Profile screen and some of the fields are marked in red. What is wrong?
A
You need to complete all the required fields which are marked with an asterisk (*). Scroll through your profile looking for fields highlighted in red, which indicate missing information. Enter the required information. At the bottom of the page, click the save/continue button, and the system will prompt you to proceed with the next step in the application process.

Q
How will the Job Agent function benefit me?
A
If you don't see what you are looking for in your search results, the Job Agent will e-mail you when new jobs matching your search criteria become available. For the best results, use very simple search criteria.

Q
How do I search for positions?
A
You can search for jobs by clicking on Job Search on the home page. Job Search will allow you to search by using criteria such as Job Req#, employment status, or country. Or you can search for all open positions by clicking on List All Jobs on the home page. On both pages you can sort your search by clicking on the column headings.

Q
How do I reapply for a position if my profile is already in the system?
A
On the home page simply enter the system by clicking on Return User Login. There is no need to re-create your profile every time you apply for a position. To apply for additional jobs or to update your profile/resume information, simply select Return User Login the next time you enter the Career Center. You will be prompted to enter the e-mail address and password you created in your profile, so be sure to have that information ready the next time you visit.

Q
How do I know the status of a job?
A
If a position is no longer on the Career Center, it means resumes are no longer being accepted for consideration. You will always be able to enter the Career Center to obtain the status of the position in My Submittals.

Q
How will I know if you are interested?
A
Our recruiters regularly review the on-line applications submitted through the Career Center. We'll contact you if you are selected for further consideration.

Q
What are the steps in the interview process?
A
Our interview process will vary depending on position. If you are contacted and scheduled for an interview, you will be provided with the details of the process at that time. Normally, candidates are interviewed by more than one person.

Q
How often are jobs posted on the Career Center?
A
Job openings are posted on our Career Center as they become available. Positions are often posted on Internet job boards such as Monster.com, HotJobs.com, CareerBuilder.com and others.

We advertise our current truck driver openings on our Career Center as well as on various internet job boards, local newspapers, etc. If you do not see a current opening of interest, we encourage you to set up a Job Agent to send you reminders when new positions are posted.
