We're looking for the people who will build the Air Products of tomorrow. We find many of them among the undergraduate and graduate students on the campuses of select schools across the United States. We invite them to join us in a unique opportunity, our Career Development Programs.
Career Development Program Overview The Career Development Program (CDP) is a strategic investment in the future of Air Products. For 50 years it has provided us top B.S and M.S. engineers, Ph.D. engineers and scientists, B.S. and M.S. Information Technology specialists, and financial and commercial MBAs.
Participants develop their skills and interests through a rotation of three different assignments, lasting 10 to 12 months each, during the first two to three years of employment. Everyone takes an active role in influencing his or her career path.
Many past and current leaders of Air Products, including our current Chief Executive Officer John McGlade, have joined the company through the Career Development Program.
Interviews We usually visit campuses in the fall and late winter to interview for both full-time and internship positions. Normally this includes an information session or company presentation before the interviews to familiarize students with our business and rotational development programs. Our on-campus dates vary widely so it's best to contact your Career Services office for information on our next visit to your school.
