Learning Opportunities
At the heart of our approach to learning is Air Products University. Its 11 colleges provide processes, tools, resources, materials, and curricula within a formal structure. But they go beyond traditional training to capture informal learning, best practices, and the exchange of knowledge, know-how, and experience. And they offer that for all aspects of the company's business and operations.
This allows our people to stay current and competent, to develop and grow, to advance their careers and realize their goals. It employs a variety of methods to suit their learning styles and their schedule. And it makes it all accessible and easy to use.
Our learning opportunities are directly linked to the company's business strategies and our employees' development needs. These range from classroom-based training to self-paced audio, video, and web-enabled training.
We also offer a menu of self-assessment and mentoring tools. These help our people identify strengths and opportunities, and provide a process to develop that information into a plan of action.
Educational Assistance

Training Options
Everyone learns a little differently. Some people thrive in the classroom environment where they can ask questions of an instructor. Others prefer to learn online, using a computer, at a speed and time that they decide. We offer both.
Performance Appraisals
Performance appraisals and 360 degree feedback allows employees to know exactly how well they are performing to standards and expectations. The appraisal process is annual and includes self-assessment as well as feedback gathered from your manager, peers, and direct reports.
