“I am really excited about the range of experience I will be able to get out of my career in Air Products.”
European Graduate Programme
The story so far
I joined as a graduate in Global Operations. During my first six months, I was able to travel across the UK and the European region learning about our various operating facilities in the region.
Since joining Air Products, I have been inspired by the variety of roles that engineers fulfil around the business. There were times at university where I worried that I would only be able to fit a small number of roles within any given organization; however Air Products gives people the opportunity to grow in a number of different positions. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this could bring to my career.
I believe that my colleagues bring a great deal of practicality to our work. Each one has gained experience working on operational sites and have taught me a great level of practical knowledge that is able to supplement and enhance the design knowledge I gained during my industrial placement year at Air Products.
Why Air Products
The continuous learning culture here is great. Everyone here wants to see you succeed. Because of that, you are given exposure to a number of different experiences and fields in order to help develop your engineering skills. This idea is embedded in the graduate scheme which gives you the opportunity to move to various areas of the business, some of which you may have never thought of, allowing you to develop a wide range of engineering skills.
