Imagine joining a company where you feel supported and part of a graduate community to help you start your career. Our graduate committee does just that. It is run by graduates for graduates and connects graduates with other members of the company, such as senior management, human resources and committees in other regions. Throughout the year networking events and development opportunities, as well as social and charitable events take place:
Coffee and Careers
Managers, many of whom joined Air Products as graduates, regularly take the time to meet with our current graduates to talk about their own career experience and share some advice.
Coffee and Careers where managers and graduates meet informally and share experiences.
Internal Career Fairs
Our annual internal career fair is an important date on the graduate calendar. Managers and graduates from all over Europe meet to talk about the opportunities which are available for the next year’s assignments.
Graduates learn more about future assignments at the internal career fair.
Graduate Community Spirit
Throughout the year, the committee hosts a number of events to give our graduates the opportunity to spend time together, support each other outside of work, and give back to the community.
Social Events – Our social events calendar includes:
- team building for new joiners
- pub quiz
- camping trip
- Christmas activities

- Thames boat trip
Sports and Fitness – Health and fitness is an important part of the Air Products lifestyle. With an on-site gym and many sport clubs*, participating is easy:

Engineering Education Scheme – Our graduates supervise a design project every year to help final year students from a local school develop their engineering skills.
Engineering Work Experience Week – Local students participate in mini design projects which are organised by the graduate committee. During the week, students learn about the various engineering disciplines and visit one of our plants.
During Engineering Work Experience Week, students visited our plant in Didcot, UK.
Volunteering – There is a long standing history of the graduate committee getting involved with local community projects. Giving back feels good!

Fundraising – The graduate committee also organises external charity events. ‘Movember’ is fast becoming a tradition.
