With three assignments lasting between 8 and 12 months each, we’ll get you involved in challenging yet rewarding assignments applicable to your future. Career Development Program Council
Each CDP member has an opportunity to be a part of our all-volunteer CDP Council. As a member of the CDP Council, not only will you organize events and participate in community service opportunities, but you’ll also build a network comprised of people with roles and experiences similar to yours.
In essence, the CDP Council’s goal is to enhance the experience of each and every CDP and help create a smooth transition into their role at Air Products. To do so, they act as the messenger between CDP members and other employees of the company such as management, human resources and the global CDP program manager. Through organized networking and development opportunities, the CDP Council creates a cohesive group of working professionals.

Developing your career
We encourage you to take an active role in influencing the direction of your career. That is an integral part of our company's career development philosophy overall and the Career Development Program. CDP participants develop their skills and interests through a rotation of three different assignments, during the first two to three years of employment. As a CDP, you will explore opportunities throughout our program and ultimately determine a career path.
Career and personal development of employees is a vital part of our business strategy. As a result, all CDPs receive broad-based on-the-job training. And we encourage you further your education and take advantage of our tuition reimbursement program. You will be offered a wide range of internal courses covering technical, interpersonal and leadership topics. Where appropriate, external courses are supported.
