  • How can I search for open positions?

    Click the Search Openings link on the Home page on the Air Products Career Center. Return users can either login or click the Search openings link. If you would like to store your resume and/or cover letter for future applications without applying at the present time, click on the Submit resume/CV link.

    On the Search Openings page, enter your search criteria. Your searchable criteria may include keywords, Req. No., Job Title, Region, Country, Location, etc. The default search language is English; however, you can do a search in any of the languages listed in that field. If you do not enter any search criteria, all open positions posted in English will be included in your search results. Because this is a global Career Center, job openings are posted for North America, Europe, and Asia.

    If your search criteria did not bring back the desired results, please return to the Search Openings page and click the Clear button located near the bottom of the page to start a new search.

    At any time, you can click on the help icon (? Help) in the upper right hand corner of the screen for additional assistance.

  • How can I apply for an open position? Whether you apply directly to an open position or want to drop your resume/CV for future applications, you will have to create a Career Center login account. The login account requires an email address and password. If you need help creating a password, you can click on the Password Security Tips link for assistance. You will also select a Security Question and supply an answer. Your password expires every 90 days; you will be prompted by the system automatically when that happens and you will need to create a new password.

    To apply to an open position, from the Search Results screen, check the box to the left of the position(s) of interest and click the Apply to Job(s) button. You can apply to up to 10 positions at one time. If you have not created a login account yet, you will be prompted to do that. If you are a return user, simply login to your account. Please note that if you are a first-time user, our Privacy Policy will open in a separate window when you ‘Click here to create a login.’ Please read/review our Privacy Policy. If you agree to the conditions, click the Agree button at the bottom of the page and the application process will continue. If you click Disagree, the application process will end and you will go back to the Home page of the Career Center.

  • How can I submit my resume/CV? When you apply to open positions or just drop your resume/CV for future applications, there are several ways to submit your information. You can build a profile using the site by uploading a saved resume/CV from your computer; you can copy/paste or enter your information into the resume text box; or you use the profile builder. You can also build your profile from your LinkedIn account.

    You also have the option of entering a cover letter. Please note this is not required during the job application process.

    You can store up to 5 different resume/CVs and 5 different cover letters in your Career Center account.

  • Can I modify my job application information at any time? Yes, you can login to your Career Center account and from the Welcome screen, click on ‘Edit your profile’ from the options on the left. You can update your contact information, work experience and education. Remember to save your entries. You can also upload a revised resume by clicking ‘Submit resume/CV.’ Your revised resume will stack on top of your existing application and the recruiter will be able to review it.

  • I do not find any positions of interest currently posted on the Air Products Career Center. How can I be alerted when new positions of interest are posted? You can set up a search agent to do the work for you. Login or create a Career Center account. On the Welcome screen, click on ‘Search agent manager’ from the options on the left. Enter the criteria for your search agent and save your entries. You can add, change, or delete search agents at any time by logging into your Career Center account.

  • When I search for a specific job requisiton number, I get the message, "Your search returned 0 matches." What should I do? Review your search criteria to make sure you have not entered anything in the other search fields. You can also remove your current search criteria by clicking the Clear button at the bottom of the search screen and then search by using other search criteria, such as keywords or country/location. If your search still does not return any matches, the position(s) may have been removed from the Career Center and we are no longer accepting applications.

  • How can I check the status of my job application?

    You can check the status of jobs to which you have applied by logging into your Career Center account. On the Welcome screen, click on ‘Job submission status’ from the options on the left. The job status may display open, on hold, closed, or canceled.

    • Open – may still be posted on the Career Center; or currently interviewing candidates
    • On hold – currently interviewing candidates; or position is about to be filled; or position is being reviewed
    • Closed – position has been filled
    • Canceled – the position will not be filled at this time

    We currently do not display a candidate’s status to a particular position.

  • Can I delete my Career Center account? Yes, you can. Login to the Air Products Career Center. On the Welcome screen, click on ‘Edit your profile’ from the options on the left. There will be three buttons at the top of the screen: Save, Delete profile, and Back. Click on the Delete profile button to remove your account from the Career Center.

    Please note – deleting your Career Center login account will not remove your information from any positions to which you have applied. As a Federal contractor, we cannot remove applications from our system. Please contact Central Staffing and ask us to update your status and withdraw your application from any current postings. We will need your name and Career Center contact information in order to identify you within our system.

    In the future, if you decide that you would like to once again apply for positions at Air Products, you will have to create a new login account.
