Scope of this Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice applies to all personal data provided by you in your job application, any subsequent information supplied by you in connection with your application. Air Products will process such personal data in the recruiting process and also provide your application and personal data included therein to other companies within the Air Products companies as well as external companies involved in the recruiting process.
How does the application system work?
Candidates can apply for a position within the Air Products group anywhere in the world via an online application system, called IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing® on Cloud. Candidates can apply for a specific vacancy, a student position, or a position through the open applicant pool. Application information is stored in the central database of IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing® on Cloud, which is located in the offices of our third party service provider in Reston, Virginia, in the United States of America. Air Products recruiters around the world will be able to match candidates with open vacancies within their parts of Air Products.
How will we use your data?
Your information will be used by one or more companies in the Air Products group to assess your application and, potentially, to contact you about a position. If you are employed, your information may also be transferred to the Air Products HR systems for employment administration purposes.
Who has access to your data?
You should know that in the recruitment process your personal information will be transferred from your home country to other Air Products companies around the world. Air Products requires all of its companies that have access to the information to treat this data as confidential and to seek to maintain its security. Only Air Products recruiters (and relevant managers) will have access to your data. Your personal data will be used solely by Air Products and will not be sold to third parties, your data may be disclosed to the third party vendor that services the recruitment system and that requires access to the data to provide its services. Air Products requires this company to adequately safeguard your personal data and not use it for any unauthorized purposes. This applies also to the services provided by our Corporate IT Department.
Data access, correction or removal
Once you have provided us with your personal data and your resume, you will be able to change this information by applying for another position or applying for a position through the open applicant pool. This process automatically updates your information in the IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing® on Cloud system. If you would like to obtain a copy of your information or, if you have not been offered a job position and want to remove your information from the database for any reason, you can do this by so by contacting us at the address below. Air Products is a global company and is established in several countries. If you have already applied to our organization in another way your decision not to register now will not affect the applications that you have submitted before.
How long will Air Products keep your data?
Personal data of any candidate applying for a job will generally be kept in IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing® on Cloud for twenty-four months after the last update performed by a candidate. All candidates are encouraged to update their data when appropriate.
If you visit our Web Sites to browse, read, or download information, we collect and store some "visitor information" from you, such as the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using, the date and time you access our Web Sites, and the Internet addresses of the web sites from which you linked directly to our Web Sites. We use this information to measure the traffic on our Web Sites and to help us make our Web Sites more useful. We delete this information after some time. If you do not wish us to collect this information, you should not visit our Web Sites.
How will we secure your data?
We recognize our responsibility to protect the information you provide to us. Air Products uses a variety of secure techniques to protect your information, including secure servers, firewalls, and encryption of application data and of your communications with IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing® on Cloud via the Internet.
Air Products reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Notice at any time. The effective date of this Privacy Notice is displayed at the beginning of this notice. Please check back periodically, and especially before you provide any personally identifiable information.
Air Products controls and is responsible for the security of your personal data. Please feel free to ask us questions concerning our IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing® on Cloud system, our Privacy Notice, request a copy of your personal data or to delete your personal data.
