***ACTION REQUIRED: Please share this information with the environmental or safety contact, or the person who handles the EPCRA Section 312 (SARA 312) reporting at your company.***
EPCRA Section 312 (SARA 312) Filing Deadline is March 1
During the past year, Air Products delivered industrial gases (e.g. argon, carbon monoxide, helium, hydrogen, hydrogen chloride, nitrogen, nitrogen trifluoride, oxygen and/or silane) to your facility. If your company is required to submit an annual Tier II inventory report based on the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) Section 312 (SARA 312), these products may have to be included in that report when your facility's total inventory exceeds applicable thresholds.
On-site Storage Capacity
Please reference your contract to determine your storage capacity. Or learn how you can estimate your standard cryogenic tank storage capacity through our APDirect® customer portal.
Daily Average and Maximum Volumes
You can also easily find the information you need to help calculate your daily average and maximum gas and cryogenic liquid volumes through the APDirect Portal. Here, you can access historical delivery reports and download yearly summaries as an Adobe® Acrobat® PDF or a Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet.
Then, to convert your volume to pounds for reporting, you can use our interactive conversion tool.
Please read our data sheet and visit our SARA 312 website for information that can help make filing easier for you. You can find valuable information, including state and federal government website links and contacts, conversion tables for volume to pounds and answers to frequently asked questions.
We are providing this additional information to assist in your reporting efforts. Although our method of communication is different this year, your process remains the same. Your company is responsible for verifying the accuracy of all hazardous chemical inventories on your site. According to the EPA, as well as our contract, it’s your responsibility to report the contents of supplier owned tanks or bulk containers located on the premises.
