Marco Quirino joined Air Products in 2017 as vice president, South America. He is responsible for the growth and profitability of the company’s Industrial Gases business in the South America region.
Prior to joining Air Products, Mr. Quirino was employed by Univar, the largest North American chemicals distributor and second largest globally, where he was responsible for leading Latin America operations. Before joining Univar, Mr. Quirino led commercial and industrial operations at Braskem, Brazil’s leading petrochemical manufacturer. He also served as vice president of Industrial and Commercial Operations at Quattor, a large petrochemical manufacturer in Brazil. Mr. Quirino began his career at Dow, where he spent 20 years in various management roles with increasing responsibility, including eight years in Mexico leading the Dow Chemical North‒Latin America region.
Mr. Quirino holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Mackenzie University and B.A. specialization degrees from FIA and FGV Business Schools (Brazil). He also completed the advanced management programs at the Wharton School of Business and INSEAD France.
