Western Region and Business Development, Americas
Paul Householder is vice president, Western Region and Business Development, Americas, at Air Products. He is responsible for the growth and profitability of the company’s Industrial Gases business in the Western U.S. and Western Canada, as well as business development activities across the Americas region.
Mr. Householder joined Air Products in 1991 as a participant in the company’s Career Development Program and subsequently held various assignments in process engineering, production, and project engineering. In 1998 he transferred to Hersham, England, as a senior project manager, and in 2000 he moved into the position of on-site sales for southern U.K. and Ireland. In 2002 Mr. Householder returned to the U.S., where he was a commercial technology sales manager for North America liquid bulk. In 2006 he joined the Performance Materials Division as the business lead for a merchant plant investment in Nanjing, China, and in 2008 he was appointed director, Global Asset Management and Continuous Improvement for the Division. Mr. Householder became a Master Black Belt in 2010, with responsibility for company-wide improvements in asset creation processes. In 2012 he was named general manager, Brazil, responsible for managing the overall business, including executing the strategic direction and achieving the operating plan, and financial and non-financial targets.
Mr. Householder holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA from Lehigh University.
