Paul Householder is vice president‒Western Region, Americas, at Air Products. He is responsible for the growth and profitability of the company’s integrated Industrial Gases business in the Western U.S. and Western Canada.

Mr. Householder joined Air Products in 1991 as a participant in the company’s Career Development Program and subsequently held various assignments in process engineering, production and project engineering. In 1998 he transferred to Hersham, England, as a senior project manager, and in 2000 he moved into the position of on-site sales for southern U.K. and Ireland. In 2002 Mr. Householder returned to the U.S., where he was a commercial technology sales manager in North America Liquid Bulk. In 2006 he joined the Performance Materials Division as the business lead for a merchant plant investment in Nanjing, China, and in 2008 he was appointed director, Global Asset Management and Continuous Improvement for the Division. Mr. Householder became a Master Black Belt, responsible for company-wide improvements in asset creation processes, in 2010. In 2012 he was named general manager, Brazil, responsible for managing the overall business, including executing the strategic direction of the Air Products Brazil business and achieving the operating plan, and financial and non-financial targets.

Mr. Householder holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA from Lehigh University.
