Tim Hulbert is vice president‒UK and Ireland at Air Products. Based in Crewe, U.K., he has overall responsibility for the performance of the company’s Industrial Gases business in the U.K. and Ireland, covering the full range of on-site plants, merchant bulk, Cryoease® and packaged gases.

Mr. Hulbert joined the Air Products graduate training program in 1993 and subsequently progressed through a variety of sales, marketing, product and business management positions. From 1995-1998 he was based in the Czech Republic and Poland, working on a number of packaged gases and merchant bulk business development projects. Mr. Hulbert was responsible for securing onsite deals and selling applications technology in the U.K., Ireland and Scandinavia from 1998-2004, and from 2004-2007 he was based in Germany, where he served as European marketing manager for the Metals, and Glass and Minerals segments, followed by commercial manager for the company’s German merchant bulk business. Following his return to the U.K. from Germany, Mr. Hulbert held a number of European positions, including pricing manager, product manager for liquid oxygen/nitrogen and, prior to his current appointment, business manager for the Generated Gases (on-sites) business.

Mr. Hulbert holds an M.Eng. degree, with first class honors, in chemical engineering from Imperial College in London. He is also an Associate of the City and Guilds of London Institute.
