Quality and Continuous Improvement
Dr. Theresa Simpson is director of quality and continuous improvement for engineering, manufacturing, technology and equipment at Air Products. She is responsible for the global oversight and execution of business-driven strategies in quality management and continuous improvement.
Dr. Simpson joined Air Products in 2011 with a Master Black Belt certification from Motorola and over 10 years’ experience in application of Lean Six Sigma and Quality principles to commercial, industrial and transactional processes in the electronics and steel industries. Since joining Air Products, Dr. Simpson has held multiple leadership roles focused on business and process improvement in Global Business Support Services, Information Technology, and multiple high-value special projects.
Dr. Simpson holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from Nazareth College and a PhD degree in chemistry from The University of Rhode Island. She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in materials science at The John’s Hopkins University. Dr. Simpson has more than 30 technical publications and additional certifications, including TL9000 auditor, scrum master and PMP (Project Management Professional).
