I studied mechanical engineering in school and was recruited by letter. I thought it was a mistake. I didn’t realize Air Products needed all kinds of engineers to design, build and run their plants. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and I realized that they would help me to find a path. They offered me a first position in manufacturing—my main interest at the time. I was hooked!
I enjoy the environment: Professional experts working together to reach a common goal as well as the mutual respect we show each other. We’re coworkers, but it feels more like family. I started out as a mechanical engineer. Since then, I’ve been a project development engineer and also held assignments in supply chain and resource management. I’m proud of my accomplishments, and I’m excited for what’s next. There’s always a new challenge around the corner.
