Air Products (NYSE:APD) has named Lynn C. Minella Vice President, Human Resources, and member of the Corporate Executive Committee, succeeding Leonard V. Broese van Groenou, who will retire at the end of this month after nearly 30 years with the company. Minella brings to Air Products more than 22 years of human resources experience at IBM Corporation, including recruiting, compensation, succession planning, performance management, acquisitions and divestitures, employee relations and resource management.
Minella previously served as Vice President of Human Resources for IBM's Software Group, leading the HR function for global software development and sales. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Human Resources for the Technology Group, assisting the semiconductor technology and packaging solutions businesses. Minella also led the HR function for IBM's Global Services–Americas organization, and held assignments in a broad range of HR disciplines.

A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Minella graduated from Cornell University, earning her B.S. degree in industrial and labor relations in 1981. She and her family will relocate from Connecticut.
