Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD) today announced that, effective November 1, 2004, it will implement a four percent price increase on all epoxy product lines sold into the North American region. This increase, approximately 5 to 12 cents per pound depending on the product line, is necessary to offset escalating costs for energy, petrochemical based raw materials, and drums used in conjunction with the production and delivery of these products.
