Effective March 1, 2005, Air Products (NYSE: APD) will implement a 20-30 percent price increase for select high purity solvents. These chemicals, which are part of Air Products' electronics portfolio, are used in the manufacture of semiconductors and other electronic devices. This increase is necessary to offset the on-going escalating costs for key raw materials, packaging and energy used during the production of these solvents.
