Air Products’ (NYSE:APD) hydrogen technology was officially put into operation recently at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, in a hydrogen fueling station designed and constructed by Chevron Hydrogen Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc. The station serves a fleet of fuel cell vehicles and other hydrogen-powered equipment located on the base. Air Products’ Series 300 hydrogen compression, storage and dispensing technology was integrated by Chevron into its advanced fueling station design for this project.

In May 2007, Air Products provided similar hydrogen technology for a Chevron demonstration fueling station in Florida. The Chevron project, located near the Orlando Airport, is fueling a fleet of shuttle buses powered by modified internal combustion engines.
