Air Products (NYSE:APD) today announced that effective July 15, 2008, or as contracts allow, it will increase prices in North America on all Airthane® and Versathane® polyurethane prepolymers, and Versalink® polyurethane curatives. The amount of the price increase will vary based on product type and are detailed below:

Airthane PET, PHP, PPT, APC and API series
prepolymers (e.g. PET-95A, PHP-75D)
Versathane 1090, 1160, and 2070
| Polyester Backbone Prepolymers
Airthane PST series prepolymers (e.g. PST-80A)
Versathane A series prepolymers (e.g. A9, A9QM)
Versalink P1000, P650, P250, 740M and MCDEA
This price increase is necessary to offset increases in the cost of raw materials, transportation costs related to fuel prices, and container costs related to steel.
