This update gives mobile visitors to the website the same ability as PC users to learn about Air Products, the products the company manufactures, the industries the company serves, career opportunities and investor information.
“Just in the past 12 months, we’ve seen increased visitor activity on airproducts.com by as much as 45 percent,” said George Noon, director of Corporate Communications for Air Products. “It is estimated that by mid-2014 mobile internet users will outnumber desktop users. With more and more people using smartphones and tablets, it simply made sense to give mobile users the same experience when they visit.”
Besides optimizing for mobile, overall page navigation of www.airproducts.com has also been improved. Users can now move more easily between sections on both PCs and mobile devices. Additional site upgrades will also result in much faster page loads, a further enhancement of the overall user experience.
