Central and Western China
Tammy Han is vice president, Central and Western China, at Air Products. She is accountable for leading the profitable growth of the company’s integrated Industrial Gases business, as well as managing commercial, marketing, customer service, logistics, transfill and supply chain activities, within the sub-region.
Ms. Han joined Air Products in 1993 as a business development representative at the company’s office in Beijing, China. In 1995 she relocated to corporate headquarters in Allentown, Pa. (U.S.), where she assumed various roles, including business development manager for large air separation units (ASU) in Customer Plant Process and Service and on-site development manager for Generated Gases. In 2000 Ms. Han returned to China and assumed the role of commercial manager for on-site and electronics businesses, and in 2005 she again relocated to Allentown, where she held commercial positions of increasing responsibility in the Electronics, and Energy and Process Industries divisions. Ms. Han repatriated to China in 2007 as business development manager for Tonnage Gases, Equipment and Energy, and in 2010 she was appointed business development director, responsible for developing new ASU and HyCO on-site projects, as well as cryogenic product systems in China. She took on the added responsibility of general manager for the company’s legal entity in Shaanxi Province, with the main focus on local team development. Prior to her current position, Ms. Han served as corporate strategic planning manager, based in Allentown.
Ms. Han holds a B.A. degree in accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and an MBA from Montclair State University in New Jersey (U.S.).
