Directer, Licensing and Technology Transfer 

Licensing Focus Areas: Cryogenic adsorption and membrane based gas separation technology. Application of industrial gases in combustion, protective atmospheres, cryogenic, inerting and other process industry applications. Electronic materials including semiconductor materials and deposition technology; photovoltaic materials and deposition technology; materials and technology for polyurethane foams, epoxy adhesives, surfactants and other chemical additives.

Mario has 32 years of professional experience in R&D, marketing and business development of industrial gas application and separation technologies. This includes technology development and application to customers in the glass, steel, aluminum, cement, petroleum refineries, rubber & plastics and pulp & paper areas. Mario was also responsible for technology transfer to Air Products subsidiaries and J.V’s in Latin America and S. Africa.

Mario received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University. He has received continuing education from Darden School of Business Admin, University of Virginia and from The Wharton Exec Education, University of Pennsylvania. He is the co-author of two patents and several technical publications. He is a member of AUTM and the Licensing Executive Society.
