In 1996, Air Products entered the Polish packaged and bulk gases market via the acquisition of the private gas company Infomet in Góra Kalwaria near Warsaw, and in 2001, Air Products acquired Tagaz aindustrial gases company with a significant cylinder filling capability in Kędzierzyn-Kożle. In 2004, Air Products signed an agreement with TC Dębica for a technologically innovative on-site nitrogen production installation, which also was the first of its kind in Europe.
