LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (March 18, 2003) — Air Products captured eight awards at the second annual Addy Awards presentation sponsored by the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club, an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), on March 4 at the Holiday Inn Fogelsville.
Gold awards were presented for three projects, including the 2002 annual report, "Being the Best Company to Invest In, Buy From, and Work For"; the 2002 corporate holiday card distributed electronically in 10 languages; and "Urban Scouting," a public service video produced for the Minsi Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
The "Tell Me More About the Environment" video, in the audio-visual sales presentation category, and trailer ads, in the vehicle wrap category, received Silver awards.
Three projects received Bronze awards, including "Go with the Global Leader in Helium," a four-color brochure; "Inside Freezing," an e-mailed newsletter; and the 02/02/02 Celebration, an industry self-promotion campaign.
All of the winning projects were produced in 2002 by Air Products' Corporate Communications and Global Marketing Communications groups and featured the creative talents of the Visual Communications team.
Sanctioned by the AAF, this competition represents the first of three levels. Gold award winners from the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club advance to the regional competition; regional winners have the opportunity to advance to the National Addy Awards competition.
