Spirit of Volunteerism Awards Go to Air Products Team of Employees

The Business Volunteer Council of the Lehigh Valley (PA) recently held its annual Spirit of Volunteerism Awards, and over 200 business and community leaders attended.  The event was an opportunity to celebrate volunteers in our headquarters community who spend time giving back and who deserve recognition for their effort, spirit and commitment.

Two special groups of Air Products employees were among the six honorees at the ceremony.  Air Products colleagues who volunteer for Meals on Wheels were honored with an award for the time and energy they take throughout the year to deliver meals to senior citizens in Lehigh County. More than 60 volunteers cover a shift for one day each month.

Air Products LIN Ambassadors make LIN cream as a highlight to the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards ceremony.

Also honored was our group of liquid nitrogen (LIN) Ambassadors. Last year, our 140 trained LIN Ambassadors presented more than 200 demonstrations to schools, clubs and community organizations.

At Air Products, we take seriously our commitment to our communities. Around the globe, our employees volunteered approximately 160,000 hours last year.
