Safety is at the heart of everything Air Products does. Being an industry leader in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) performance is one of our proudest accomplishments, and for a number of years, achieving and maintaining this goal has been the first of our five corporate objectives. We are committed to continuing to improve our performance to reach the ultimate goals of zero injuries and zero releases of toxic and hazardous materials.

Although already one of the top two or three safety performers in the U.S., our Chemicals Group has found new ways to improve and has achieved a nearly flawless safety record over the past two years. This record played a major role in our receiving the most improved safety record award from the Chemical Manufacturers Association (CMA) last year. That says volumes about our drive and commitment.
