Intelimer IPA 13-1 and 13-6 polymers are associative oil phase thickeners designed to thicken a wide variety of oil phase materials, including mineral oil, hydrogenated polyisobutylene (HPIB), vegetable oils, oil esters, triglycerides. They are particularly effective in polar and nonpolar oils. Intelimer IPA 13-1 and 13-6 polymers also have a built-in temperature switch that enables change in properties, like viscosity, at a trigger temperature.
