CryoCondap® Exstream™ - The Smart Way to Meet Emissions Legislation
If you are faced with recovering or removing high concentration solvents from low process gasflows, you may have thought cryogenic solvent recovery was out of your reach.
Not anymore. We've spent the last five years developing a new and economical VOC recovery system which takes the benefits of liquid nitrogen and combines it with a revolutionary technology. Building on the effectiveness of our existing CryoCondap range of VOC equipment we've found a recovery solution which is perfect for customers with flows up to 300 Nm 3/h. (If you have flows higher than this click here.) And what's more, it can achieve emissions levels of almost zero.

So What Is It Exactly?
CryoCondap® ExStream™ is a cryogenic solvent recovery or abatement system which removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from process gas streams. It forms part of the Air Products' CryoCondap® family, operating independently or as an extension to an existing abatement system.
How Does It Work?
It's simple. CryoCondap® ExStream™ is a liquid nitrogen based system that freezes and filters out solvent vapour from the process gas stream. Unlike many other cryogenic systems, the CryoCondap® ExStream™ operates within one vessel and the self-cleaning system allows for continuous operation.
This is made possible by the unique low temperature "Back-Pulse" cleaning system, which clears the filters from the inherent solvent ice build up. By controlling the temperature within the vessel, any required emission level can be met.

So Why Would It Benefit My Process?
If you are in the pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing industry and you deal with high concentration solvents with flows below 300 Nm3/h, this system could be right for you. Especially if you are using traditionally "difficult" solvents such as Benzene, or solvent mixtures. It has the following key benefits:
- It removes almost any solvent or mixtures
- It is capable of meeting virtually any emissions target now and in the future
- It's easily scalable up to 300 Nm3/h
- You can reuse or sell on the recovered solvent
- It can reduce the concentration of most common solvents down to 1ppmv
- Because it uses liquid nitrogen, it's inherently clean
