Tips for Accurate Tank Readings

Quick Response

Please respond quickly to our requests for readings to help us provide uninterrupted gas supply and make timely deliveries.

Identify Proper Tanks

Each system has a unique Air Products Ship-to account number and a unique Tank Serial Number. If you have multiple storage systems at your facility, confirm the tank serial numbers printed on the tank label and the product stored in the storage system before recording your reading.
Air Products' serial format is XXXM-XXX-XXX.

Record Time

To enter the time, use four digits in a 24 hour clock format (military time).

For example:
12:30 a.m. = 0030
8:15 a.m. = 0815
Noon = 1200
8:15 p.m. = 2015

Safer Deliveries

When you approach your storage system, take a moment to visually inspect the surrounding area. Clear any debris and remove items that should not be located near the storage system. This helps our delivery and maintenance personnel have clear and safe access to the system.
