We supply hydrogen and oxygen via large on-site facilities or pipeline systems, mainly to the petroleum refining, chemical and metallurgical industries in the Tonnage Gases segment; and cryogenic air separation and gas processing equipment, LNG heat exchangers, and technologies to serve industrial and energy markets in the Equipment and Energy segment.
Our Tonnage Gases, Equipment and Energy business provides solutions to help meet growing energy processing and distribution needs. We have more experience than anyone else supplying refinery hydrogen, and we are actively involved in developing hydrogen as a potential future fuel. We are also playing a pivotal role in helping the world effectively access its abundant natural gas reserves in remote areas.

Hydrogen for cleaner-burning fuels
Refiners rely on our hydrogen to meet clean fuels legislation and the world's growing needs for transport fuels. As the leading supplier with more than 60 plants, our hydrogen removes sulfur from heavy, sour crudes, helping to significantly reduce air pollution.
Making natural gas economical to transport
Today, natural gas provides about 25% of the energy required to power the world's homes, businesses, vehicles and industries. We are the leading supplier of liquefaction process technology and heat exchangers that enable natural gas to be transported more safely and economically.
Oxygen plants for clean liquid fuels
We are one of only a few companies in the world with the technical and operating experience to provide the massive oxygen plants required by GTL facilities in the Americas, Asia, South Africa and the Middle East to convert natural gas to clean, liquid fuels. |
