Air Products and Chemicals believes in being a socially responsible company. One of the ways we demonstrate that responsibility is through our corporate contributions program. The company donates millions of dollars annually to non-profit, tax-exempt organizations in the headquarters community in Allentown, Pa., as well as in those communities around the world where the company has a significant employee presence or investment.

The focus of Air Products' giving is in the areas of Higher Education; Pre-College Education; Fitness, Health and Welfare; Community and Economic Development; Arts and Culture; and The Environment and Safety.

Application Process

Contribution requests must be made in writing on the non-profit organization's letterhead. The requester must supply a copy of the organization's tax-exempt determination from the United States Internal Revenue Service. The request should address the following:

• Purpose and background information of the organization, including its board of directors
  
  
• Amount of contribution requested
  
  
• Planned use of contribution, including when the results will be evaluated and how they will be measured
  
  
• Persons benefited by the organization (number, age range, etc.)
  
  
• Time frame for the project, i.e. feasibility phase, design engineering, construction and operating permits
  
  
• Date by which funding is needed.
  
  
• Follow-up evaluation of contribution impact.

Contribution requests are reviewed on an ongoing basis by the Community Relations Manager and Director of Corporate Relations. Please allow adequate lead time to review requests. Generally, requests will be processed within 60 days.
