Air Products believes in being a socially responsible company. One of the ways we demonstrate that responsibility is through our corporate contributions program. The Air Products Foundation and the company donate millions of dollars annually to non-profit, tax-exempt organizations in communities around the world where the company has a significant employee presence or investment.

The focus of Air Products' giving is in the areas of Higher Education; Pre-College Education; Health and Human Service; Community and Economic Development; Arts and Culture; and The Environment and Safety.

In making funding decisions, a variety of factors are considered, including: level of employee engagement and involvement, communicating how the request meets a true need in the community, and understanding how the project fits with the business goals of Air Products.

Application Process

Contribution requests for the United States should be made in writing, and the requester must supply a copy of the organization's tax-exempt determination from the United States Internal Revenue Service. The request should address the following:

Please submit the following with your Proposal:

• Request Summary including amount
• Description of community need
• Project description as it relates to the mission of the organization
• Metrics for how success will be measured
• Current budget for project including other funding/support received
• Complete name, address, phone and email for the applicant
• List of board of directors and their terms
• List and type of involvement by Air Products employees
• Form 990 for the most recent fiscal year, unless exempt from filing
