(July 2008) — We have seen it before: the worst natural catastrophes can bring out the best in human nature. People’s hearts are heavy after witnessing large scale suffering like that in the Sichuan Province, China, and naturally, people want to reach out and help. Air Products and its employees are no exception.

In May, Air Products made a corporate donation of US$100,000 to Save the Children, an international non-governmental organization which focuses on children in need, to help them recover from the devastating Sichuan earthquake.

Beyond the corporate donation, Air Products Asia and employees throughout the region have raised an additional US$298,000 for Sichuan’s relief efforts, which has been donated to the Red Cross Society—China.
