Air Products brings a strong and innovative research organization to its collaborations. Its talented researchers have developed expertise in a wide range of fields to support our current technologies as well as to introduce new ones. We conduct both fundamental and applied research in such areas as reaction chemistry, materials chemistry, and engineering fundamentals. We engage in applications development, often in collaboration with customers, in pursuit of new applications for both new and existing products. To support these efforts, we maintain many state-of-the-art laboratories. Our process engineering groups can draw upon a large information database and our broad base of proprietary intellectual property in the synthesis of processes to support current technology platforms and to develop new ones.
