Q: What Air Products-related accomplishment/moment are you most proud of?A: "Technical side: Being the technical lead during the acquisition of Permea and discovering the reason for the much lower than expected performance of their air separation separators. After the acquisition, the fix I devised, improved air recovery and productivity both by ~30%. (It's difficult, however, to limit it to just 1. I've had many opportunities to impact the bottom line of the Company and work with some really bright people.) Another is developing and implementing the Technical Risk Management Process (TRMP). It is a work process that has become institutionalized in APCI. People side: Hiring many people who have succeeded and are becoming leaders in the Company's R&D and Engineering communities."
