Government Contracting

Overview

For more than 60 years, Air Products has considered the government an important customer and technology partner. Air Products' commitment to serving federal customer needs led to the formation of Government Contracting, an integrated organization dedicated to working closely with the government to provide high-quality products, systems, and services and to cooperatively develop new technologies for the nation's benefit. Comprising engineers, scientists, technicians, financial managers, and sales and marketing professionals, the Government Contracting team interfaces with associates from all business segments within Air Products to provide a gateway for government customers.

Through this integrated approach, we have successfully supplied government-specified products, developed specialized systems and services, and completed research programs that meet the technology goals of both government and private industry. Our ability to solve technical, commercial, cost, and energy and environmental challenges has been demonstrated through the years by the development of hundreds of new applications, products and technologies.

We work with the Department of Energy, Department of Commerce, Department of Defense, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, as well as government prime contractors and state and local agencies. Our broad experience in service to the government is exemplified in the programs mentioned in the Current Programs section of this website.
