Application Process
Submitting your application
Once you have created a profile in our system and uploaded your resume, you can apply to any of our current openings. You will receive a confirmation page upon successfully applying for a position. If you do not receive this confirmation your application has not been received. We recommend that you resubmit your application.
Please note, we are unable to accept resumes by mail, fax, or email. Submitting your resume through our Career Center is the only way to apply to any of our job openings.
Once we’ve received your application
If it is determined that you meet the qualifications of the position for which you applied, a member of our Staffing team may contact you (note: timing varies depending on position requirements) to schedule a time to discuss your background, experience, career interests and the current openings. If you are selected to proceed in the process, we will schedule you for additional interviews. Due to the high volume of applications, you will only be contacted if you are selected for a phone or onsite interview.
If selected for a follow-up interview
Please be prepared to discuss your strengths, developmental interests, accomplishments, goals and job expectations. Get to know Air Products by reviewing materials available on this web site.
Some positions have additional requirements due to special features of the work. These may include occupational certifications, professional designations and/or physical examinations or physical capability examinations.
Our pre-employment background check may include a criminal record review, verification of employment history, highest level of education completed, driving record, and/or a pre-employment drug screen and physical, where permitted by applicable law. If you are selected for an interview, you may be asked to sign a form authorizing Air Products to conduct a pre-employment background check, which may be conducted before an offer of employment is made. In addition, offers of employment may be conditioned upon satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks, pre-employment drug screens, physical examinations or other requirements, depending upon the nature of the job for which you have applied.
If you are applying to one of our Truck Driver openings and you are selected for an interview, you may be asked to provide additional information such as your Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and current DOT medical certification (US). If you are selected from the interview process, you will be required to take a road test (US). The documentation and requirements vary from country to country and you will be informed of the necessary process if you are selected.
