Career Development Program

The Career Development Program (CDP) is a strategic investment in the future of Air Products. For over 50 years, it has provided us top B.S and M.S. engineers, Ph.D. engineers and scientists, B.S. and M.S. Information Technology specialists, and financial and commercial MBAs.

Participants develop their skills and interests through a rotation of three to five different assignments, lasting 8 to 12 months each, during the first two to three years of employment. The participant in the CDP, along with his or her mentor, explore opportunities while on the program and ultimately determine a career path.

Many past and current leaders of Air Products, including our current Chief Executive Officer, John McGlade, have joined the company through the Career Development Program.

Interviews

We usually visit campuses in the fall and late winter to interview for both full-time and internship positions. Normally this includes an information session or company presentation before the interviews to familiarize students with our business and rotational development programs. Our on-campus dates vary widely so it's best to contact your Career Services office for information on our next visit to your school.
