A Shining Example of Creative Diversity At Air Products
The idea for an Air Products band began with an unusual article in Fortune magazine on corporate bands. Intrigued by the thought of forming a band at Air Products, now retired executive Joe Kaminski pursued the idea. "I felt that we had a tremendous wealth of talent at Air Products that we do not truly benefit from and an effort such as the band would be a small way to capture some of that talent." And so, in October 2000, Air Products' corporate band, "The Difference," was formed.

Send an email to request a performance by "The Difference". Please include the following information in the body of
the email:
Requestor's name and phone number
Requestor's email address
Name of company, association, or charity name you represent
Event name and location
Event date (if already known) and if the date is flexible
Desired length of performance and desired start time
Any additional event details
You will receive a response within five business days acknowledging receipt of your request. All requests must be for either a specific charity or community event or an Air Products Corporate event. The acceptance of any request is at the sole discretion of the band members and their availability. "The Difference" reviews and accepts/declines requests once a month due to schedule constraints. Special Announcements
The eighth annual Rock the Night on Wheels will be celebrated Friday, October 19th at the American on Wheels Museum in Allentown. The Difference, the award-winning rock and roll band from Air Products, will again provide the music.
