Diversity and Inclusion Education
Understanding starts with knowledge. Our employees receive diversity and inclusion training through a combination of Web-based modules and in-person workshops. We offer on-boarding sessions, and customized workshops, and we work closely with managers and teams to help them better understand the importance of inclusion in the workplace.
Learning Resources
To provide our employees with ongoing learning opportunities, materials such as our online Diversity and Inclusion Toolbox contain “power tools” such as exercises, activities, articles and discussion topics. Our employees can access these materials quickly and easily for team or individual learnings.
Multicultural Events
Our Employee Network Groups raise awareness about diversity through designated heritage and history months and events.
Diversity and Inclusion Recognition Awards
On an annual basis, one employee and one employee team are honored for their diversity and inclusion work, either as a stand-alone project or for improving an existing work practice or process. Employees are nominated for this honor by their colleagues, and the winners are publicly recognized in a ceremony held at our corporate headquarters.The work done by these nominees is considered a best practice and shared with all employees.
Community and Philanthropy
Across the world, Air Products is recognized as a good neighbor. Through our community outreach, charitable giving, social and economic responsibility, and the willingness of our employees to volunteer their time, we strengthen our communities. Our D&I teams often partner with local schools to help develop students’ interest in science and engineering.
