Vice President and Chief Commercial Counsel
Diane L. Sheridan was appointed vice president and chief commercial counsel in April 2010. Based in Hersham, U.K., she is responsible for the leadership and management of Air Products’ corporate and commercial legal activities around the globe.
Ms. Sheridan joined Air Products in 1984 as an attorney in the company’s Law department. She was named director of the Corporate Real Estate department in 1992, director of Real Estate and Property Management in 1995, and director of gases and equipment supply for the Energy and Materials division in 1997. In 1999 Ms. Sheridan was appointed vice president, Energy and Materials, where she was responsible for the company’s total purchased goods and services globally. In 2005 she was named vice president and chief risk officer with responsibility for developing risk evaluation and quantification, measurements and coordinating compliance activities with global laws and regulations.
Ms. Sheridan was born in Albany, N.Y. She received a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. degree from St. John’s University School of Law.
