Bubbling

During melting and refining, bubbling molten glass with various industrial gases can help enhance glass melting convection currents and also improve re-adsorption of any remaining bubbles into the melt in order to eliminate defects. Certain gases can also be bubbled through glass to help improve glass conditioning.
