Air Products’ Halia® advanced oxidation system can be utilized to treat municipal and industrial wastewater streams to meet water reuse standards in various applications such as irrigation and direct / indirect potable water supply.
Oxygen is a colorless gas which constitutes approximately 21 percent of the volume of air. It can be stored and shipped as either a gas or a cryogenic liquid with a boiling point of -297.3°F (-183°C). Oxygen is used as a feed gas for ozone production via corona discharge. For ozone applications, we supply oxygen in gas or liquid form which we can either deliver to your site or produce on your site. The use of oxygen instead of air to produce ozone requires less power for the same ozone generated and can provide more concentrated ozone gas streams.
Halia® advanced oxidation reactor
The Halia advanced oxidation reactor is a unique patented ozone AOP reactor technology particularly suited for industrial applications with high ozone dose. The Halia technology provides higher ozone efficiencies, easier retrofit installation and lower maintenance costs than traditional ozone contacting equipment.
