Medical Cylinder Gases

Air Products' medical gases are manufactured in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and comply fully with the purity specifications set by the European Pharmacopoeia.

Why choose Air Products medical cylinders?

Air Products has developed its medical cylinder range around two basic and simple principles - innovation and common sense. At the same time we ensure that we comply with regulations governing existing equipment.

Cylinder range:

High pressure cylinders - L sized medical oxygen cylinders are filled to 200 bar, which means that the cylinder contains 56% more gas than traditional cylinders.

Lighter weight cylinders  - manufactured from  hoop wrapped aluminium  making them 50%lighter than traditional steel  cylinders.

Integral headset and valve  - permanently  attached to the cylinder, these eliminate the risk  associated with manipulation of a high pressure  device and overcome the need to change  headsets.
