In the UK our services range from the latest liquid medical oxygen supply technology at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, to helping individual patients such as Mr Willis - an emphysema sufferer from Leeds, who uses our lightweight portable oxygen cylinder to get him to the Post Office!

Our heritage
We have a long established history in the field of medical gases. it was an Air Products company that pioneered Homecare over 50 years ago, as one of the first in the world to place an oxygen cylinder in a patient's home.

Since then medical oxygen has become increasingly important as a first line treatment for patients with respiratory problems. Concentrators have improved life expectancy, and portable liquid oxygen has given patients greater freedom and improved their quality of life.

Air Products has continued to be at the centre of innovation and developments in medical gas therapy, an example of which is the development of the first portable lightweight oxygen cylinders that give patients, previously unable to leave home, the freedom to have their oxygen when and where they need it.

We employ a full-time 'Qualified Person', with the authority to certify gases as 100% safe and suitable for pharmaceutical use and ensure manufacturing and quality standards are maintained.
