Cryobiology

What is Cryobiology?

Cryobiology is the study of the effect of very low temperatures on organisms, tissues and cells. In medical terms it is the science that studies the ability of some living tissues to remain viable in a frozen state. Cryobiology enables tissues to be preserved for future use as transplants or grafts.
