Composites-Prepreg

Air Products provides an extensive line of accelerators and catalysts for use in prepreg applications. Prepregs are manufactured of partially cured pre-impregnated resin and fibre matrices which can be cryogenically stored and used many months after production. Prepregs allow better end performance than some traditional wet lay up techniques because of optimized resin/ fibre ratios.

Amicure UR

Substitute for chlorophenyl ureas; co-curing accelerator for dicyandiamide-cured epoxy resins. Exceptional latency and rapid cure above activation temperature. Used in one-component paste and film adhesives, high-performance composites, and prepregs.

Amicure UR 7/10

Substituted urea-based accelerator for dicyandiamide-cured epoxy resins. Finely ground version of AMICURE® UR7/10. Used in one-component adhesives, heat-cured composites, and prepregs.

Amicure UR2T

Substitute for chlorophenyl ureas; co-curing accelerator for dicyandiamide-cured epoxy resins. Faster green strength adhesion build. Used in one-component paste and film adhesives, high-performance composites, and prepregs.

Curezol 1B2MZ

Non-crystallizing liquid with high reactivity. Effective low-viscosity accelerator for anhydrides.

Curezol 2E4MZ

High-reactivity, low melting point; used on its own or to accelerate dicyandiamide or anhydride curing agents.

Provides best combination of latency and low-temperature cure. Accelerator for dicyandiamide, anhydride and phenolic curing agents.
