Composites—Resin Infusion/RTM

Air Products supplies a full line of diluents and modifiers for use in fabricating composite parts via the resin infusion process. The principle of the process is the impregnation of multiple layers of dry reinforcement contained between a rigid, hermetic mould. A partial vacuum is applied to the mould cavity to eliminate air void. Resin is then “infused” completely saturating the reinforcement layers. Our products offer the ability to obtain a balance of infusion time with rapid cure at processing temperature providing rapid demould times and components with high mechanical properties.
